French Industrial designer Thomas de Lussac has launched his collection of designer benches. With models such as 'Romeo and Juliet' and 'You and Me', the bench invites reconciliation and conviviality. Thomas de Lussac chose contemporary materials such as aluminum and pop colors to reinvent the bench. These benches may be found in French parks this summer, but are also intended for individual purchase.

One of the most important cultural movements that took place in the 1980's, is an initiative that was created by the late Italian designer Ettore Sottsass and a group of young Milanese architects and designers, who have redefined the way in which we relate to the space we live in. This movement was called Memphis.

DONA - The Red Robot Pan-handler!

South Korean designer, Min Su Kim, has created a robot beggar named DONA.
This little Red Robot, DONA («donation motivating») uses it's cute, and characterful nature to attract attention and interact with potential donors. This use of technology combined with the wow factor and interaction suggests a much higher response to the donating process and eradicates awkward donation dodging with people in the street.
